VendorSite Execute enables you to automate strategic replenishment strategies, such as time-based, VMI or release triggers (e.g., Kanban). By ensuring that demand and inventory information is instantly communicated to suppliers, VendorSite enables your suppliers to better support your business.
VendorSite Execute also provides intelligent alerting capabilities that notified users of potential supply chain issues before they become real problems. VendorSite Execute also prioritizes supply chain activities based on user needs.
VendorSite Execute functionality includes:
- Detailed tracking of product parts shipment forecasts and requirements to suppliers
Detailed displays, in tabular and graphic format, provide suppliers with complete information on parts due dates and quantities both committed and planned. VendorSite provides for tracking shipment status and schedule changes. - Automated tools for meeting manufacturer information requirements
VendorSite’s automated tools help suppliers comply with manufacturer information needs. Screens are pre-filled wherever possible with data stored in the VendorSite database. This helps to ensure that "mission critical" supply chain data is timely and accurate. - Ship notice and automatic barcode label generation
VendorSite generates Advance Ship Notices (ASNs) with minimal supplier input as well as automatically generating barcode labels for use in the shipment process. - Vendor Managed Inventory
VendorSite enables suppliers to manage inventory at remote locations via its Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) functionality. VendorSite provides suppliers with information about and visibility into inventory levels (both manufacturer’s and consigned) to help them to determine when to make replenishment shipments. - Shipment status information
VendorSite tracks all parts delivery requirements and shipment information. From this the system can automatically notify the manufacturer of potential parts delivery problems before they would normally be detected. For example, if a parts delivery is due on Thursday and normal delivery time is two days, VendorSite will automatically notify the manufacturer if the supplier does not indicate a shipment of the proper quantity of parts was made on Tuesday. - Detailed tracking of remittance advice information to suppliers
Detailed displays provide the supplier with complete information on payment status of all shipments. The supplier can know at a glance whether or not payment has been made for any parts shipment. - Summary displays
VendorSite provides manufacturers and their suppliers with summaries of critical supply chain information, such as planning and committed parts shipment requirements, electronic document status, remittance advice and supplier performance.
